MTS, Yandex ecosystems’ clients to get access to both bundles

MOSCOW, Jan 14 (PRIME) -- Mobile operator MTS and Internet company Yandex have agreed to share subscribers of their ecosystem services, which has become the first such partnership of digital companies in Russia, an MTS spokesperson said on Thursday.

“MTS and Yandex agreed to become partners on user subscriptions. MTS Premium users will get access on special terms to the Yandex.Plus subscription, and the Plus clients to MTS Premium,” the spokesperson said.

MTS Premium clients will get free Yandex subscription for three months and later on special terms. If an MTS Premium client is already a Yandex subscriber, the offer will be still available.

Yandex.Plus clients will get the same offer for MTS Premium in January–June. Clients of other mobile operators can also subscribe for the pack.

As of the end of September 2020, MTS Premium had over 4 million clients and Yandex.Plus had 5 million clients as of October 2020.
